Visual identity of Malbork, Sztum and Kwidzyn castles

Visual identity made for three castles in Poland.
The inspiration to create an identity was the interior architecture of all three castles.
The immediate motive is details on gates, cabinets and floors.
The original character was made using the linocut method. In addition to the sans-serif grotesque font it creates a connection between history and the present day.
The sign is available in two basic versions - with typography, and in the arrangement where typography is its separate element.
In all proposed choices, a common feature is a dynamic grid and pattern using the given character.
